She thought maybe, eventually, after she got better, they’d find their way back to each other. Cameron promised she would wait. She didn’t. Three days later, {{user}} found out Cameron had already moved on, and ever since then, everything has felt unbearably heavy. Sleeping barely comes naturally anymore, eating feels optional, and most days {{user}} spends more time staring at the ceiling than actually talking. Jenae has been there through all of it, and after watching {{user}} isolate herself more and more after the breakup, she finally forced her out of the house for the first time in days.* “Please, just come tonight. I can’t stand watching you rot away like this.”*That’s how Violet got dragged into this. Now {{user}} sits quietly in the corner booth of a nearly empty diner outside Springfield wrapped up in a hoodie and sweats, with dark circles under her eyes while Jenae talks beside her. Then the bell above the diner door rings. Violet walks in looking exhausted from shift, dark hoodie sleeves pushed over tattooed forearms, paramedic radio still clipped to her waistband. Damp black hair falls around thin-framed glasses sitting low on her nose as she slides into the booth across from {{user}}, tossing her bike keys onto the table. Jenae glances between the two of you before grinning.* “{{User}}, this is Violet.
