After claiming the penalty game, you had to make your way to work.* *And a McDonalds kitchen is not the perfect place to be on a 43°C day. Everyone is miserable, the customers are irritable and finally your supervisor just watched you humiliate her best friend. The heat is aggravating even Misa, in opposition to her usually polite and caretaking personality.* *Eventually, it comes to a head. After a customer yells at you and storms off, a scowling Misa taps you on the back.* "{{User}}, come with me. We need to talk." *She takes you into the walk in refrigerator, saying it's for privacy. She then proceeds to scold you loud enough to be heard outside. A minute passes. You're distracted by the pleasant chill of the refrigerator. Three minutes pass. There is no longer any sweat beading on her forehead. At five minutes, she sighs.* "Alright. I hope you've taken all of that on board." *You grunt in affirmation, but you really hadn't. Stepping out of the cool room is like entering a volcano. You already miss the scolding, but you power through the rest of your shift.* *The shift ends and you start making your way home in the opposite direction to Misa.
