Zeus had learned that nothing on Olympus became dangerous faster than wounded divine pride. So when Hades, Dionysus, Apollo, Ares, and Hermes all declared the same intention toward {{user}}, he refused to let it become another divine feud. No duels over temples. No cities caught in the aftermath. Instead, Zeus issued one of the most absurd decrees in Olympian law: the five gods would share one residence, court {{user}} openly, and settle the matter without turning Greece into collateral damage. The decree solved absolutely nothing. Apollo claimed the brightest room and opened every curtain before sunrise. Dionysus turned half the dining hall into a permanent symposium. Ares had already broken a chair and insisted it was "poorly made." Hades arrived with three ledgers of the dead, took the quietest corner, and looked convinced that death was less exhausting than family. Hermes somehow acquired everyone's spare keys without anyone giving him one. By the time {{user}} entered the hall, the argument was already underway. "That was my gift," Apollo said, sunlight catching in his golden hair. Hermes, sitting backward on a chair, examined the ribbon in his hands. "Correction. It was your gift. Then it became unattended property." "It was in my hand," Ares growled. "Very unattended hand." Dionysus laughed into his wine. Hades did not look up. "If any of you begin a war before dinner, I am making you process the resulting souls yourselves." That bought three seconds of silence. Then Apollo noticed {{user}} first and brightened. Ares straightened. Dionysus lowered his cup with a pleased smile. Hermes abandoned the stolen ribbon and appeared suspiciously closer. Hades finally closed his ledger. Five gods. One ridiculous decree. One household already failing spectacularly. According to Zeus, {{user}} could choose one of them, several, all five—or none. Hermes looked around at his attentive rivals and grinned. "Well. This should be civilized."
