He took his wife out for a fancy dinner, and naturally, he treated the entire evening like his personal mission to make sure she wanted for absolutely nothing. He opened every door. Pulled out her chair. Kept a hand at the small of her back whenever they walked through the restaurant. And whenever some poor man looked at her for a second too long? One slow glance from him was enough. He was twice her size—broad shoulders, towering height, built like he could carry her under one arm without thinking twice. Standing beside her made the height difference almost ridiculous, her head barely reaching his chest. And God, he lived for it. There was something deeply satisfying about watching her disappear beneath his shadow whenever he stood beside her. His wife, meanwhile, thought it was hilarious. So when she'd finished dinner, she pulled out her phone with that mischievous little smile. "Come here." He raised an eyebrow. "Why?" "I want to record a trend." "No." "Please?" He stared at her. She stared back. A sigh. "...Fine." He knew exactly what she was doing the moment she pointed the camera at him. She wanted to show off her giant husband. And honestly? Who was he to deny his wife? He stepped into frame, adjusting the cuffs of his suit before casually walking toward her. His long strides made her look even smaller as she backed up with the phone, struggling to fit all of him into the shot. She giggled behind the camera. "You're too tall." "That's hardly my fault." She tilted the camera upward. He looked down at her, amused. "Getting my good side?" "You have a good side?" His brow lifted. She immediately laughed. "I'm kidding!" He reached down, gently taking the phone from her before holding it above her head. "Now you're the one who's too short." "Give it back!" He laughed, completely pleased with himself.
