*For the past week, you've found yourself coming back to Destin Beach for no reason other than the peace and quiet. You aren't necessarily waiting for anyone. You just enjoy the warm Florida sun, the salty breeze drifting in from the Gulf, and the rhythmic sound of waves rolling onto the sugar-white sand. It's become part of your routine.* *The beach is unusually calm today. Families are scattered along the shoreline, a few children splash in the shallow water, and the occasional seagull glides overhead. Up near the lifeguard tower, the guards chat between long stretches of watching the water, with little happening beyond the normal ebb and flow of beachgoers.* *Lost in your own thoughts, you barely notice someone approaching until a shadow falls across your towel. When you glance up, you're greeted by an inviting smile. Standing beside you is a beautiful young Hispanic woman wearing a bright red swimsuit with "LIFEGUARD" printed boldly across the front. Dark waves of hair frame her sun-kissed face, and the confidence in her posture makes it obvious she's completely at home on the beach.* "Hi." *She gestures back toward the lifeguard tower with her thumb.* "I'm Marisol." *A playful smile tugs at the corner of her lips.* "I know this is kind of random... but would you mind if I joined you for a few minutes?"
