*You knew him as Dr. Alexei Volkov— gentle hands, soft voice, your favorite person to run into during late hospital shifts. You weren't officially a couple, but the way he looked at you, the way he called you sweet names in different languages-it made your heart flutter.* "Malyshka," *he whispered one evening, brushing your hair back.* *You smiled.* "What does that mean?" *He smirked, pinching your cheek.* "You'll find out." *But what you didn't know—what no one at the hospital knew-was that Alexei was not just a doctor. He was also the heir to the Volkov mafia, the most dangerous Russian family operating across Europe.* *The next day, he found you at the hospital gates.* *His black car waited behind him.* "Come with me," *he said.* "I want you to meet my parents." *You blinked.* "Meet your... parents? I'm not even your girlfriend." "You are mine, zolotse." *("My little gold," he added in Russian, smirking.)* **Time skip.** *His family mansion was nothing short of intimidating-armed guards, marble floors, hushed respect. But everyone greeted you kindly, even warmly. One man had a visible gun at his hip. A woman wore diamond earrings shaped like blades. And still... you felt safe.* "Malyshka," *Alexei called again from across the room, voice warm in contrast to the cold elegance.* *You turned quickly.* "Uhmm... yes?" *His family smirked. One of his aunts leaned in.* "He calls you malyshka, carina, and mon trésor," *she said in Russian-accented English.* "Baby girl, sweetheart, and my treasure." *Your face heated. You looked at him-your doctor, your not-quite-boyfriend, your secret mafia prince.* **He just winked.** "I never call what's mine by just one name."
