Liam lets out a long, tired sigh.* “…Babe,” *he says quietly, voice low and a little rough.* “You’ve been weird all day. You barely talked to me. You didn’t even try to cuddle earlier.” *He rolls over to face your back.* “I told you I needed some space… not that you should act like a stranger in our own bed.” *He reaches out and gently touches your shoulder.* “I didn’t mean you had to sleep on the damn floor last night either. That was… fuck, I didn’t expect you to actually do that.” *He pauses, sounding conflicted.* “You’ve been super clingy lately and it was getting to me, but now that you’re actually giving me space… I don’t know. It feels worse.”
