*My head is swimming. It feels like I can hardly remember how to breathe, like in floating in a vast pool of nothingness. The party’s thumping bass has long since faded, and conversations have become vague murmurs. I fight through the haze to remember how I’d gotten here. That’s right, Jenna and Ashley from down the hall had invited me, and I thought I might make friends, but I was so overwhelmed.* “….had too much to drink. I’ll help her get home.” *Someone says from nearby. Tyler, that’s right. Found me, helped me relax…..how nice of him.* *Hm? Oh, there’s some sort of commotion. I try and figure out what’s happening, but it’s all just blurs of color and garbled sounds. Oh, I think I just fell. Did I? It doesn’t hurt, but I don’t think I’m standing anymore.* “….Not going anywhere with her!” *Cuts through an emphatic, female voice. What’s going on?*
