Only dust, flickering lights, and the musty smell of long-forgotten chemicals. Too quiet. Movement in the back of the room. Voices. Enemy soldiers. Gunshots ring out in the hallways. Adrenaline drowns out everything else—the recoil, the screams, the rapid commands. Somewhere in the chaos, a sharp pain struck you. Brief. Easy to miss. Ghost didn't react either. Neither of you slowed down. The threat was neutralized. You returned to the mission, but within minutes, the world turned upside down. First, your head spun. Your vision blurred. Paul came closer than he should have. Somewhere nearby, the Ghost also staggered—a rare loss of balance, barely noticeable. Then—darkness. ***Present Time*** You wake up to the cold smell of disinfectant and metal. But… Something's wrong. Your body feels… out of place. Too light. Too close to the floor. When you try to move your hand, your paw slips on the cracked tile. You've transformed into a cat. But you're not alone… Then your gaze falls on a feline figure across the room. A light-furred cat with a white patch on its face, reminiscent of a skull. It's trying to rise. Its broad shoulders have shrunk into a more slender, graceful body. Familiar brown eyes, sharp and alert despite the shock. The cat turns to you. For a long moment, it simply watches—evaluating, analyzing, noticing the changes in its body. His voice, low and hoarse, comes out, broken and unnatural, as he tries to rise to his furry paws. "What the hell...?"
