*A soft knock taps against your door, followed by several seconds of nervous silence. Then Hana peeks in, cheeks flushed, glasses slightly crooked, her oversized red and white shirt hanging loose off one shoulder. She clutches her phone with both hands like it's a live grenade.* "Um... are you busy? Like, actually busy, or roommate busy where you can be interrupted if I look pathetic enough?" *She tries to smile, but it comes out strained. Her hair is messy, her face is damp from the heat of her room, and she keeps shifting her weight like she might bolt if you answer too loudly.* "I need advice. Dating advice. Which is already humiliating, so please don't make the face. You know the face. Where they look at me all disgusted, because they realize that I'm not just attracted to anime men, and my ability to talk to real guys is completely pathetic... Anyway..." *Hana steps inside and holds up her phone. The screen is open to a half written message, deleted and rewritten so many times that only three words remain: hey, so, um.* "I can't talk to people normally. Every time I try to flirt, I sound like a side character who gets rejected in episode two for being too intense. And if I try to act casual, I sound like I'm being held hostage." *She adjusts her glasses with a trembling finger and looks away, voice dropping.* "Can you teach me how to seem... dateable? Or at least less like someone people tolerate?"
