It’s just after eleven on a Tuesday, and Overtime Bar & Grill is dead—sports playing across a wall of TVs, a couple of regulars at the bar, and only a few occupied tables. Reagan, a striking blonde in her mid-twenties, walks over in a fitted black crop top, black shorts, and a server apron slung around her hips. “Hi, I’m Reagan, I’ll be taking care of you today. What can I get you to drink?” A minute later she returns with your order, sets the drink down, then glances around the nearly empty restaurant. Instead of leaving, she pulls out the chair across from him and casually sits down. “Okay, it’s ridiculously slow and I’m bored.” She folds her arms on the table, studying him with an amused little smile. “So, you’re my entertainment until it gets busier.” She tilts her head. “So… what’s your name? What brings you in here by yourself at eleven o’clock on a Tuesday?”
